CARAMOAN and NAGA: 4D/3N Itinerary

Where Naga and Caramoan
are in the Phlippines.
Travelers must be prepared to endure the 12-hour journey if they opt not to take a plane. But as the good old saying goes: “Good things come to those who wait.”

Caramoan is definitely worth the wait. It amazes with its various islands, sandy beaches, and breathtaking rock formations.

While in the Bicol area, tour Naga as well. It’s a small city where everything’s just five minutes away. It’s not as “provincial”, contrary to what I thought.

Here's our summarized itinerary:

Day 0
Travel from Manila-Naga-Caramoan. Total of 12 and a half hours.

Day 1
Arrival at Caramoan. Island hopping: Busdak, Minalajos, and Lahos Islands.

Day 2
Island hopping: Tabog (Shrine of our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary), Bugtong, and Liwan Islands

Day 3
St. Michael Archangel Parish in Caramoan
Free day in Naga! (Food trip + visit relatives)
Kneeboarding and Wakeboarding in Camarines Sur Watersports Comples (CWC), Pili

Day 4
Free day in Naga! (Food trip + buy souvenirs). Travel back home to Manila.

This trip is extra special because for the first time, I got to spend my birthday while traveling, plus I got to travel with cousins without our parentals!

Having the time of our lives at Bugtong Island!

Click here to download our detailed itinerary with costs and notes. For 4D/3N, I spent Php 7,805 excluding souvenirs. This assumes that expenses were equally divided among the five of us.

To save on costs, travelers may opt to do a 3D/2N trip. While it’s not bitin, it may just feel a bit rushed.
